Painted in the early days of lockdown during the pandemic in 2020, I spent days upon days working on this piece as I dealt with the feelings I was faced with in isolation. The chaos of the mind may feel overwhelming, but working through all of that can bring out such beauty. Now, here we are coming out the other side of that, and I get to look back on that time with appreciation for the things it taught me.
